The College of Law and Police Sciences consists of the Department of Law, the Department of Police Law, and the Department of Police Administration.
The College of Law and Police Sciences was established in 2003 by integrating the former College of Law with the College of Police Sciences. The major in police law was added in 2006. After a change in the academic system (implementation of a department system) in 2010, the college now consists of the Department of Law, the Department of Police Law, and the Department of Police Administration..
The educational objective of the College of Law and Police Sciences is to nurture and provide expert qualifications to competent persons who will be responsible for the development of Korea, the maintenance of public order and the safety of citizens. To achieve this objective, the educational program focuses on developing democratic leadership and global expertise in law and police science.
Shattuck Hall, the building used by the College of Law and Police Sciences, was constructed in 1996. This building has a gross area of 6,952.46m² and contains an audio-visual room and PC room and is equipped with state-of-the-art educational apparatus and materials.
