- Course Description
이 교과목은 도서관과 정보센터에서 가장 기초적이며 핵심적인 웹 관련 기술을 익히고, 이를 활용하여 기본 서비스를 제공하는 능력을 배양하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 따라서 웹상에서 정보의 축적, 조직, 배포에 활용되는 정보기술과 이와 관련된 소프트웨어를 다룬다. 특히 도서관 정보센터 업무에 도입되는 컴퓨터와 커뮤니케이션 기술에 치중한다.
- Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to familiarize students with the basic concepts of web programming and related technologies. Throughout the course, students will gain knowledge of key development languages and tools, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery. By acquiring a solid understanding of these foundational elements, students will not only be well-equipped to learn more advanced programming languages and software packages, but will also have the skills to seamlessly integrate various aspects of web programming into their future projects. The focus on practical applications of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery ensures that students can confidently incorporate these key technologies into their web development projects upon successful completion of the course.
- Teachnig Method
This course will be taught in English. Most programming assignments are built-upon previous class lecture materials or assignments. Thus, class attendance will be essential as absence will most likely affect the student’s grade. Class participation will be factored into your final grade for the course. Students who anticipate an extended absence for any reason are likely to face difficulties in completing assignments.
