의복구성과 패턴제작의 기초를 익히고 바느질의 기초와 재봉기 사용법을 교육함으로서 의상 제작에 요구되는 기초지식을 배양한다.

Students get to understand the principle behind apparel composition and human body's characteristics. Moreover, the goal is to increase understanding of all the processes leading up to production including planning for apparel production, blueprint production and actual production instead of stopping at learning production technique. Students will develop proficiency in constructing a basic women's skirt structured, step-by-step approach, enabling them to acquire essential skills in pattern design and garment construction techniques. Additionally, they will gain a comprehensive understanding of fabric characteristics, pattern-making, various sewing techniques, and equipment operation, applying their knowledge through hands-on garment fitting sessions themselves. 의복구성의 원리와 인체의 특징을 이해하고, 단순 제작기법의 터득에만 머무르는 것이 아닌 의상 제작을 위한 기획, 도식화 제작, 그리고 제작에까지 이르는 모든 과정에 대한 이해도 향상을 목표로 한다. 학생들은 '기본 여성 스커트를 단계적, 체계적인 방법으로 제작하는 것을 습득하여 패턴설계, 의복제작방법 등을 익힐 수 있도록 한다. 원단의 특성, 패턴제작, 다양한 봉제기법, 장비사용방법 등을 익히고 실제 제작한 의상을 피팅하여 실습한다.

This class explains the basic knowledge of clothing composition and costume production. Practice is conducted for hand-stitching techniques, sewing machine operation, partial sewing methods, the pattern-making and garment construction according to the progress of each week. 이 수업은 의복 구성과 의상 제작에 대한 기본 지식을 설명한다. 주차별 진도에 따라 손바느질 방법, 재봉틀 사용법, 부분 봉제법, 패턴의 제도와 의상 제작을 위해 실습을 진행한다.

Students can gain greater understanding of apparel by understanding apparel components and drawing and sewing methods and can use the knowledge for planning and developing in the actual field in the future 1. 의복제작 과정의 이해: 의복이 제작되는 전과정에 대한 포괄적 이해도를 높일 수 있음. 2. 의복구성의 이해: 패턴제작, 의상제작 방법의 학습을 통해 의상에 대한 이해도를 높이고 실무에서 기획 개발 업무에 활용할 수 있음.
