INTRODUCTORY READINGS IN EDUCATION(LECTURE IN ENGLISH)

  1. Course Description
    교육학의 내용에 대해 토론하고 주요개념을 이해한다. 교육학 독해를 통해 교육과정, 교수법 및 교육학의 최신 연구 분야를 알아보고, 교육학에 대한 기초적인 학문적 접근을 통하여 현장 교육을 바라보는 개인의 시각을 발전시킨다.
  2. Course Objectives
    The purpose of this course is to introduce students to leading educational theories and thinkers of the last century. The course will explore which theories are most appropriate for today, how educators might use them in schools, and how they describe the processes involved in development and/or learning. By the end of the course, students will have a deeper understanding of contemporary educational practices. In this course, students will: • Be exposed to leading educational thinkers • Consider the role of education and educators in the modern world • Begin to develop an informed stance toward educational theories through discussion and debate • Become reflexive thinkers on the topic of education
