- Course Description
이 강좌는 교환학생으로 오는 프랑스 학생들을 대상으로 하는 과목으로 한국 문화를 이해하도록 하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 5000년 역사를 가진 한국의 문화유산을 소개하고 삼국 시대부터 고려 시대, 조선 시대를 거쳐 현대에 이르기까지 건축, 음악, 미술 분야 등에서 어떻게 발전되어 왔는지를 알아볼 것이다. 뿐만 아니라 한글 창제의 원리를 비롯하여 한국인의 의식주 문화, 현대 한국인들의 다양한 삶의 모습을 알아볼 것이다. 이를 통해 수강생들은 과거와 현재의 한국 문화를 이해할 수 있을 것이다.
- Course Objectives
The primary objectives of this course are to provide a comprehensive understanding of the historical, social, and linguistic foundations of Korea and trace their manifestation in contemporary society. This includes analyzing the catalysts for economic growth (Miracle on the Han River), exploring core cultural components such as Hangeul, social etiquette, traditional arts (Pansori, Hanok, Hansik), critically examining modern social dynamics, and examining the global cultural impact of Hallyu (K-Pop, K-Dramas, K-Beauty).

This course aims to significantly enhance students' cultural competence during their exchange. Specifically, it will enable them to navigate daily life by understanding social etiquette, honorifics, and the everyday Korean culture; critically understand local social issues; and provide context for current trends in media, food, and technology, making their personal and academic experiences in Korea more informed and successful.
