- Course Objectives
This course introduces the concepts and practices of multicultural education with a focus on the Korean school context. Students will explore cultural identity, stereotypes, communication across cultures, and the experiences of multicultural children and immigrant families in Korea. Through interactive tasks, classroom simulations, and guided reflection, students will examine how teachers can promote inclusivity, respect diversity, and foster global citizenship. The course emphasizes practical classroom strategies and encourages students to consider how they can create supportive learning environments for all learners.
