- Course Objectives
Strategic thinking is the art of outdoing an adversary, knowing that the adversary is trying to do the same to you. This course provides an introduction to game theory. While game theory is still a young science, it already has many applications in real life. More precisely, game theory provides a framework for analyzing cases of conflict and cooperation between rational decision-makers, frequently arising in business, economics, political science, and the social sciences in general. This course will enable you, via thinking strategically, to understand and analyze such situations.
