이 과정을 성공적으로 마친 학생들은 근대 한국사에 대한 기본적인 지식과 19 세기 후반에서 현재에 이르는 논쟁을 설명할 수 있다. 주제는 고종 시기의 정치적, 지적 역사, 식민지 시대의 사회 및 정치사, 해방과 민족 분단, 남북한의 전후 경제 발전, 민주주의 운동, 핵 외교 등을 포함한다.
Course Objectives
Students who succesfully complete this course will be able to demonstrate a basic familiarity with Modern Korean History and its various historiographies from the late nineteenth century to the present.
