본 과목에서는 미생물(예: 박테리아, 바이러스 및 효모)이 생명공학을 통해 실제 문제를 해결하기 위해 조작되는 방법에 대한 개요를 제공합니다. 주제에는 미생물 생명, 생태학 및 신진대사의 기초, 미생물 기술, 산업 미생물학, 약물 개발 미생물학, 식품 미생물학, 미생물, 동식물 간의 상호작용, 내장 미생물학, 메타게노믹스 등이 포함됩니다.
Course Objectives
This course aims to introduce and understand the fundamental concepts and applications of biotechnology in all aspects of environment including its protection, restoration and sustainability. It also aims to provide theoretical and methodological knowledge for the study and understanding of the use of biotechnology for environmental goals.
Teachnig Method
Each week covers a specific topic related to Microbial Biotechnology. It consists of a lecture given by the instructor to cover the background and going through different examples of Microbial Biotechnology.
