FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

  1. Course Description
    Students are introduced to the structure and financial challenges of business enterprises. This includes methods and instruments available for promoting, financing, re-capitalizing and re-organizing business enterprises and social control of security issues and exchanges. And, time value of money, risk and return tradeoffs, security valuation and working capital management will be examined. Prereauisite: Financial Accounting(KIC)
  2. Course Objectives
    After completing this course, the students will be able to understand: (1) the basic characteristics of financial management; (2) the time-value-of-money and the related concepts and calculations; (3) how to make capital budgeting (long-term investment) decisions (5) capital structuring, leverage, and dividend policy (6) decisions regarding the day-to-day activities (working capital) of a business
