VISUAL PRODUCTION WORKSHOP

이 강의는 단편영화,다큐멘터리,애니메이션등 모든 종류의 영상 제작이 가능한 졸업작품 포트폴리오 프로젝트로서,영상 제작의 모든 단계를 총괄적으로 다룬다.

1. 내러티브 및 다큐멘터리 영상의 기본 구성 원리를 이해하고 실습을 통해 체득한다. 2. 장면 연출, 촬영, 편집 등 영상 제작의 전 과정을 직접 경험함으로써 실무 역량을 향상시킨다. 3. 제한된 조건 속에서도 창의적으로 시각적 스토리텔링을 구현하는 능력을 기른다. 4. 동일한 자료(스크립트 또는 인터뷰)를 기반으로 한 다양한 해석과 표현 방식을 탐색한다. 5. 팀워크와 피드백을 통해 협업 능력과 비평적 사고를 함양한다. 1. To understand the fundamental structure of narrative and documentary films and acquire production skills through hands-on practice. 2. To enhance practical abilities by experiencing the entire video production process, including directing, shooting, and editing. 3. To develop creative visual storytelling skills within limited conditions and resources. 4. To explore diverse interpretations and expressions using shared materials (script or interview footage). 5. 1. 총 10회 이상 결석 시 F학점 처리됨 2. 수업 시간 집중도와 태도가 매우 중요합니다. 수업 시간 동안 무단 이탈, 수업에 집중하지 않는 태도(예: 휴대폰 과도 사용 등)는 감점의 사유가 될 수 있음. 3. 조별 활동 시 성실히 참여하지 않거나, 협업을 방해하는 경우 역시 참여 점수에 불이익이 있음. 4 과제 제출 마감일을 반드시 지켜야 하며, 지각 제출 시 감점 처리됨. 1. Students with 10 or more absences will automatically receive an F grade. 2. Active focus and engagement during class are essential. Leaving class without permission or being inattentive (e.g., excessive phone use) may negatively affect your grade. 3. Lack of effort or disruption during group activities may also lead to a reduction in your participation score. 4. All assignments must be submitted on time. 1. “내러티브” 과제 (개인 과제 – 30%) - 모든 학생에게 동일한 짧은 대화 스크립트를 바탕으로 한 대화 장면 연출. - 학생들은 다양한 요소들을 고려하여 해당 장면을 직접 연출, 촬영, 편집 (적절한 숏-리버스숏 구성, 리액션 샷과 인서트의 명확한 사용, 콘티뉴이티, 프레이밍, 편집 리듬에 대한 고려) 2. “다큐멘터리” 과제 (조별 과제 – 30%) - 학생들은 조현준 교수를 대상으로 정해진 주제로 인터뷰를 진행함. - 편집시 인터뷰 내용 중 포함할 부분과 제외할 부분을 직접 선택. - 필요 시 관련 있는 B-roll이나 컷어웨이를 추가. - 최종 결과물로 30초 분량의 인터뷰 영상을 완성. 3. 기말고사는 수업 중 강의에서 다룬 실제 제작 사례를 바탕으로 출제됩니다. 주요 평가 항목은 쇼트 구성 원리, 숏 리버스 숏, 인터뷰 촬영 기법, B-roll 활용, 다큐멘터리 구조 등이며, 영상 제작의 기본 원칙과 실무적 이해도를 중심으로 평가된다. 1. "Narrative" Project (Individual - 30%) : - All students receive the same short dialogue script - Students direct, shoot, and edit the scene using: Proper shot-reverse-shot structure, Clear use of reaction shots and inserts, Attention to continuity, framing, and pacing 2. "Documentary" Project (Group - 30%) - Students interview Professor Cho on a set topic - They choose what to include/exclude from the interview - Add relevant b-roll, cutaways, if needed - Shape a 30-second final interview footage 3. The final exam will cover key examples discussed in class lectures. Students will be assessed on their understanding of shot composition, shot-reverse-shot structure, interview techniques, use of B-roll, and documentary structure. The exam will focus on core production principles and practical storytelling strategies.

본 과목은 4학년 이상 수준의 심화 실습 과목으로, 기본적인 영상 제작 경험(촬영 및 편집)에 대한 이해를 전제로 한다. 제작 관련 기초 과목을 이수했거나 동등한 수준의 실습 경험이 있는 학생에게 적합하다. This is an advanced-level workshop course intended for senior students. A basic understanding of video production—including shooting and editing—is assumed. The course is suitable for students who have completed foundational production courses or have equivalent hands-on experience.

본 과목은 영상 연출, 촬영, 편집 등 영상 제작의 실무 능력을 키우는 데 중점을 두고 있어, 영화, 방송, 광고 등 다양한 미디어 분야로 진출하고자 하는 학생들에게 기초 역량을 제공한다. 특히 극영화 및 다큐멘터리 제작 경험은 향후 작품 연출과 촬영에 실질적으로 활용될 수 있다. This course focuses on building practical skills in directing, shooting, and editing, offering foundational training for students pursuing careers in film, television, advertising, and other media industries. In particular, the experience of producing both narrative and documentary films can be directly applied to future directing and cinematography work.
