COMPARATIVE STUDY OF CONTEMPORARY LITERATURE, MEDIA AND PHILOSOPHY

철학과 이론이 어떻게 다른 미디어를 이해하도록 도울 것인지 우리는 이야기를 나눌 것이고 철학, 문학, 영화에서의 아이디어들이 서로 어떻게 대화하는지 이 수업은 가르칠 것이다. 이 수업은 20세기 미국 흑인 문학에 초점을 맞출 것이다. 그리고 문학과 관련된 철학과 영화를 공부할 것이다.

This class is aimed at looking at the intersection and interrelation of popular media, philosophy, and literature. Students will gain a basic understanding of critical race theory, Marxism, and post-colonial theory in addition to reading some of the most famous and enduring classics of 20th century American fiction.
