  6. Requiments
Class attendance is mandatory, and unauthorized absences will result in a deduction of 1 point per missed class. Students who miss more than 30% of the classes will automatically receive an 'F' grade. Absences due to valid reasons, such as illness or participation in university events, can be excused by submitting the required documents through the EDWARD system. Arriving 7 to 20 minutes late to class is considered tardy. Two instances of tardiness count as one absence (six instances equal two absences, and so on). Students arriving more than 20 minutes late will be marked absent unless a valid reason is provided.
