- Course Description
This course teaches the economic and social modernization of Korea. We have two objectives in this course: to examine the factors underlying the remarkable growth of the Korean economy and the distribution of the fruits of that growth, together with the associated changes in society and government; and to evaluate the importance of foreign economic relationships in promoting these changes.
- Course Objectives
- To make students understand economic development process of Korean economy
- To compare Korean economy with other neiboring Asian economies and discuss the particularities of Korean economy .
- To make students research on current isssues of Korean economy.
- Teachnig Method
- Professor picks up important issues on Korean economy, give brief introductions and let students discuss on those.
- Students should do weekly assignments every week which is aimed at making researchs on very current issues on Korean economy and raising questions to professor.
