- Course Description
This course will deal with the theory and practice of politics and the description and analysis of political systems and political behavior. Students will study the allocation and transfer of power in decision-making, the roles and systems of governance including governments and international organizations, political behavior and public policy.
- Course Objectives
Through the course, students will learn basic concepts of politics and understand the political behavior of individual actors and states.
- Teachnig Method
This class will have two regular classes as scheduled.
-The class will run through lectures and students participation. Active student participation and previews are strongly required.
I will give a lecture on Tuesday of every week while student moderators will moderate a discussion session for a half of Thursday class.
- Students should submit the discussion topics by Tuesday(24:00), then selected discussion topics would be announced by Wednesday. Students whose topics are selected would be a moderator of the discussion. Depending on discussion sessions, 2 or 3 moderators would take care of the session. Discussion sessions will be held on Thursday. Topics should be posted to the FPS facebook page.
- Students should summarize and critically review political articles everyday. Every Thursday, newspapers will be announced.
- Lectures will be given with an assumption of the preview. So you are required to preview each chapters before the class.
- T.A. of this class are Park, Charlene and Park, Jieun. They are good mentors to you.

I do not assume students' knowledge of political science. However, students should read chapters and related materials before the class. Your intellectual inspiration and passion will be expected and required.
Students should read the chapter before the class.
Every weekday, students should submit the news scrap to the student TA.
