- Course Description
This program is designed to give students the confidence and ability to communicate in everyday English conversations.
This program focuses on practical daily conversation. In this class we will approach language learning through presentation, reinforcement, and expansion of communication forms and structures that promote the gradual but secure development of the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills gained in previous classes.
- Course Objectives
This is an English conversation course with the express aim of developing students' spoken English skills. Starting from the first lesson, students will be encouraged to actively participate in class. Students will receive instruction on language structures and features by the instructor and will be provided with time to practice and develop their language knowledge and skills. By the end of the semester, students should feel more comfortable and fluent communicating in English.

- Requiments
Students should attend real-time classes, watch videos within the designated time, and complete assignments. If a student misses 10 classes they will automatically be given an 'F' grade. Students should be prepared for class, which means having a textbook and pen/pencil to every class, and be prepared for online classes (login early, check equipment, be in an appropriate location for a class, etc.).
- Practical application of the course
As English is now the de facto common language used around the world in business, engineering, or other communication situations between different groups of language speakers, this course should prove beneficial in both professional and leisure activities, whether the student needs to communicate with a foreign business partner or just order a meal in a restaurant. The student should also feel more comfortable using English or dealing with foreigners after completing this course.
