  1. Course Description
    Students are introduced to the major events, personalities, and ideas that have been central to the development of the global environment we live in today. The student is provided with an overview of the key features of such historical moments as the European Renaissance, the French Revolution, the Cold War, and the end of apartheid in South Africa. In addition, students are encouraged to question whether, after centuries of apparent development and progress, human civilization has achieved its full potential.
  2. Course Objectives
    1. Let students understand of political history of states and nations. 2. Let students understand that human history was shaped by wars they experienced. 3. Let students understand uniqueness and generality of history
  3. Teachnig Method
    Students already studied history in previous educational institutions. So I will narrow down this semester's world history class to political history of nations and states. My lecture will cover from the beginning human history to crises of climate changes in the globe. I will select and give a list of war to students presentation. It would be very interesting to understand how war and peace shape the discourse of human history. The list will be announced after the last day of enrollment.
