NB: I will not accept assignments that: 1) Arrive later than 11pm on that class day unless I state otherwise (Korean Time). 2) Are not in Microsoft Word .doc or .docx formats (do not send in pdf format, as I will not be able to add corrections). A free version of Microsoft Office is available from the University Website, so there are no excuses about this either. 3) Are not sent to the correct email address quentinstollery@yahoo.co.uk via email. If you send by any other method, I will not accept it. 3. Using AI for Class Assignments: This class is designed to help you improve your ability to write in English. If I am suspicious that you have used an AI like Chat GPT to write any of your assignments, I will put it through “Turnitin.com”. If Turnitin.com identifies that your assignment was done using an AI, you will lose the points for that assignment.

For the majority of the Tuesday classes you will need to either bring a laptop/notebook computer to class or have access to a computer (you will be able to go to the computer rooms in the building). NB: IF YOU LEAVE TO USE A COMPUTER IN A COMPUTER ROOM, I WILL TRUST YOU TO DO YOUR WORK, BUT YOU NEED TO SEND ME THE ASSIGNMENTS BY 11PM THAT DAY IN ORDER TO GET CREDIT FOR THAT TASK.
  7. Practical application of the course
This course will help students in their ability to write and develop coherent arguments in English, which due to the nature of the KAC Program will be invaluable for further study.
