MODEL UN

This course is designed to give students experience of the UN system. Through the model UN conference, students will have confidence of expressing and discussing the global agenda. In addition, students will know the basic rules and structures of the UN.

1. Understanding Rules and Processes in the UN 2. Practicing Model UN under the official model UN rule published by the UN 3. Educate and train students to be able to participate in the national university model UN competition

-Lecture and Model UN operation -First few weeks, lectures will cover rules and procedures -After then, students will practice two model UN sessions -Students will be guided to practice model UN - Goals of this class 1) to be familiar to the real process and procedures in the UN 2) to develop public speaking, writing, research skills 3) to encounter international affairs and concepts 4) to make consensus, not winning a simple majority 5) to learn things of UN UN as an institution the role of the UN diplomacy involved in UN decisions Need to join the class facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/946529936711774

Students taking this class will given priority when they apply to join Korean National University MUN to represent KMU.
