PROJECT DEVELOPMENT IN BUSINESS

  1. Course Description
    본 과목은 학생들로 하여금 프로 경영과 세무지식을 가지고 프로젝트 기획과 개발에 응용할 수 있는 기초적인 지식과 기술들을 제공하는 것을 교육목적으로 한다. 강의 내용은 기업의 경영 및 세무지식을 기초로 기업 내 프로젝트의 개념, 프로젝트 계획 및 개발에 관한 단계 기술 및 경영주기와 관련한 검토 등을 포함한다.
  2. Course Objectives
    This course hopes to achieve the following objectives: 1. To provide the students with the basic knowledge and skills on how projects related business and entrepreneurship are conceived and developed which will put emphasis on Project feasibility studies, project appraisals, negotiation and approval, until project implementation, monitoring and evaluation. 2. To provide the students with the opportunities to conceptualize and develop projects on their own which are related to business or entrepreneurship as a practical way of reinforcing their theoretical knowledge or background on project development. 3. To provide the students with the basic skills on the different methods or strategies on how project studies are being presented.
  3. Teachnig Method
    Classroom Rules: 1. Coverage of Midterm Examinations Midterm examinations will cover the topics and lectures from the start of the classes until the last lecture prior to the scheduled midterm examination. 2. Project Study The student will be required to prepare and present before the class a project feasibility study through poster about the business or enterprise which they themselves have conceptualized. The said project will be evaluated by some invited professors with background on project development and management based on the project evaluation criteria set. This requirement is in lieu of the final examinations. 3. Class tasks and assignments During the regular class sessions, there will some oral output presentations that are related to every topic being discussed, specifically on the major aspects of the Project Feasibility study preparation. 4. Attendance Significant time is allotted for discussion, and active learning. Therefore each student is encouraged to attend classes regularly to maximize the benefits of learning in this course.

  5. Assessment
    For the assignments, the students will be required to have a write up and a presentation for every aspect of Project Feasibility study Preparation. The Project Poster presentation will be done at the last part of the class or during the final examination period , where the students will present their final group outputs- the Proposed Project, through a poster, which will be evaluated by a panel of evaluators/professors who have background about project development or project feasibility study.
  6. Requiments
    There is no prerequisite for this course, any student majoring in any business related fields can enroll in this course.
  7. Practical application of the course
    The course will practically be useful among students as they will be exposed to planning and analyzing potential business projects, and will give the opportunity to develop and enhance their technical skills and capabilities from project conceptualization to project monitoring and evaluation.
