- Course Description
This course is designed to provide a comprehensive guide to political, economic, social, technological, and legal aspects of the business environment in global emerging markets, namely BRICS countries. To this end, it will not only explore the role of those emerging markets in world economy but also highlight major business practices by discovering their cultural roots. It will equally address both the shortcomings and opportunities associated with that particular business culture and the economic development model(s).
- Course Objectives

- Teachnig Method
• Attendance/Participation: 10 percent of the total grade.
• Term Project/Presentation: 20 percent of the total grade. Mutually agreed topic/issue. Be prepared to answer questions after you finish presenting.
• Midterm Exam: 30 percent of the total grade. It will be comprised of a set of identifications/short answer questions and one essay question.
• Final Exam: 40 percent of the total grade. The final exam is cumulative and it will be comprised of a set of identifications/short answer questions and one essay question.
