이 수업은 성악 비평의 정의와 역할, 비평의 태도 등의 지식을 탐구한다. 또한, 학생들이 바로크 시대부터 현대까지의 다양한 시기의 레퍼토리를 선곡하여 실제적 연주를 수행한다.

이 과목은 성악을 전공하는 대학 학부 과정생들이 연주를 통한 감상 및 비평을 나누고 토론하는 방법을 영어로 학습하고 실천함으로써 세계로 뻗어나가는 음악인으로 성장할 수 있도록 돕습니다. 연주자가 연주곡에 대한 이해를 영어로 바르게 소개하며 묘사하는 법을 배우고 그에 따른 감상 및 비평을 영어로 함께 나누고 실천합니다. This subject helps undergraduate students majoring in vocal performance to grow into musicians who are expanding around the world by learning and practicing how to share and discuss appreciation and criticism through performance in English. The performer properly introduces and learns how to describe the understanding of the performance in English, and shares and practices the appreciation and criticism in English accordingly.

연주자의 올바른 태도와 더불어 비평의 정확한 의미와 비평가의 올바른 태도에 대해서 배우고 함께 영어로 토론합니다. 이 수업을 통해 연주자는 본인이 연주하는 곡을 다른 사람들에게 영어로 올바르게 소개하는 방법을 배웁니다. 연주에 대해 비평을 할 때에는 배운 내용을 토대로 올바른 비평가의 자세로 임하여 본인의 생각을 영어로 구체적으로 표현하며 함께 참 여하여 토론합니다. 비평에 관한 내용을 영어로 구사하는 표현법을 넓고 다양하게 익히고 실제로 수업 중에 실천해봄으로 써 연주역량 강화에 힘쓰며 글로벌한 시대에 맞춰 보다 나은 음악가로의 성장을 이룰 수 있게 돕습니다. 수업 전체를 영어 로 진행하여 보다 효과적인 연주설명과 비평을 할 수 있도록 배웁니다. In addition to the proper attitude of the performer, students will learn about the exact meaning of criticism and the right attitude of the critic and discuss in English together. Through this class, the performer learns how to properly introduce the songs to others in English. When students criticize the performance, they should take the correct attitude of a critic based on what they have learned. Also students will have to express their thoughts in English, and participate in discussions together. By learning a wide variety of expressions in English about criticism and practicing them in class, we try to strengthen our performance capabilities and help them grow into better musicians in line with the global era. The entire class will be taught in English so that students can explain and critique more effectively.

- 학점인정 최소요건은 출석률 1/4 이상 - 2회 지각은 1회 결석과 동일처리 - 매 수업때마다 진행되는 연주, 비평의 전반적인 수업태도 및 참여도가 자세히 반영됩니다.

- 학생들은 본인의 연주 순서 전에 곡을 정하여 비평을 담당한 그룹에게 미리 전달할 것 - 연주를 담당한 학생들은 연주 전 간단한 곡 소개를 준비할 것
