Course Description
“Doing the right thing” as police officers, prosecutors, judges and jailers means going against popular movement, based upon ethical honesty and principles. It is almost predictable that whatever society at large decides is the “right thing to do” because it is popular opinion is actually wrong. Acting principally means having the logic, courage, and strength to know what is right according to law, according to ethics (professional morality), and according to personal belief (morality), and governing our actions according to principle rather than popular opinion.
