- Course Description
본 교과목은 아시아 문화와 시스템적 혁신에 대한 이론 및 실천적 접근법을 이해하는 것을 목표로 한다. 즉, 본 교과목은 아시아 문화적 환경이 시스템적 혁신과 혁신적 기업 경영에 어떻게 영향을 주는가에 대한 이해를 목표로 한다. 수강자는 본 교과목을 수강함으로써 아시아 문화의 특성, 시스템적 혁신과 시스템 혁신적 관점에서 본 문화적 역량을 습득함으로써 글로벌 감각을 향상시킬 수 있다. 이러한 목적을 위해서 본 과정은 실제 현장에서의 “문제 해결”의 사례를 통한 학습에 기초하여 설계되었고, 수강자의 참여를 통한 문제 해결에 기초한 학습을 위한 시스템 어프로치에 대한 이해와 실천을 통해서 학습능력을 향상시키는 것을 목표로 한다.
- Course Objectives
This course is designed for the non-technical undergraduate business students. Upon completion of this course, students have acquired the core knowledge and skills
related to history of East Asian countries, Asian business culture, manners, systems approaches to management and problem-solving. Students will have a good understanding of:
1.The opportunities create value and knowledge for Asian business
2. Systems thinking and approaches to understand problem situations in organizational and social contexts
3. How a combination of history, industry, technology, competitive and regulatory forces create the basis for new business models, and explore the associated opportunities
and risks that business managers and consultants should deal with.
- Teachnig Method
Class sessions will include lectures, discussions, case analyses, and presentations on team-based or group projects. Cases will be used to help students analyse real-world
problems and issues. Given the objectives of the course and the rapidly changing nature of global business environments, emphasis will be placed on the process of
"learning how to learn" rather than on "memorizing" the contents.
Course requirements:
Class Participation and Attendance
Class participation points will be based on attendance, being on time, preparedness and contribution to class discussion. Students are required to attend all classes. and to be
on time. If you miss more than 5 classes, you will not able to earn the credits from this class. All students are expected to do the assigned readings before class and to
participate in class discussions.
