GREEN BUILDING AND DESIGN

그린빌딩은 건물 내에서 건강한 환경을 제공하면서 건물의 환경 영향을 크게 줄이려는 비교적 새로운 분야이다. 이 과목은 학생들이 그린 건축, 조경, 도시 계획과 관련된 설계 분야를 소개하고 녹색 설계 및 건축의 다양한 기본 개념을 탐구하며 향후 실무능력 향상에 도움을 줄 수 있도록 한다.

This course seeks to introduce the field of green building and design, explore a variety of fundamental concepts in green design and construction, and provide guidance to students who wish to engage in the field, though analysis, research and with a practical approach.

Active participation is requested, as well as a positive attitude to work both individually and in groups. The classes will be divided in lectures and workshops and participation in class will only be considered if there is active participation - answering questions, making questions ...

Students will be asked to engage in a variety of tasks in English, so a Basic understanding of English language is required, as students will be listening to lectures and media, reading textbook in English, discussing with their classmates team and Professor about materials, expressing ideas orally and in written form. Background in architectural engineering or architecture preferred, students from other departments as well as exchange students are also welcome.
