GLOBAL ENVIRONMENT CHANGE

이 강의는 지구 온난화, 해양 산성화, 삼림 벌채 및 오존층 파괴와 같은 현재의 인위적 변화를 강조하면서 지구 환경 변화, 과거와 현재 변화의 차이, 미래의 예상 변화를 이해하는 것을 목표로 한다.

- Understand and explain the causes and consequences of overpopulation, energy consumption, global warming, air/water pollution, and the decline of biodiversity - Develop a basic vocabulary of environmental studies terminology, such as understanding concepts of sustainability, ecological footprint, biodiversity, ecosystem services, etc. - Develop an appreciation for, and understanding of, the complexity of our wonderful planet - Describe the relationship between the geological and climatic development of the Earth - Give an account of natural climatic and environmental changes which have occurred over different time scales - Account for the effect of climate change on the environment and on society and how society works with the effects of climate change and climate adaptation
