CREATIVE 2D PRACTICE(1)

  1. Course Description
    이 교과목은 산업디자인 실무에서 활용될 수 있는 2차원 그래픽 운용 능력 향상을 목표로 한다. 특히, 제품디자이너들의 아이디어스케치와 테크니컬드로잉을 컴퓨터 환경에서 원활하게 제작할 수 있는 스킬업을 목표로 한다. ‘펜툴을 이용한 기하학적 도형’과 ‘2D 제품외형 설계는 사용되는 벡터 드로잉 데이터’는 ‘라이노 3D’와 같은 3차원 프로그램의 연동 과정에 활용된다. 따라서 크리에이티브 2D 실습(1)은 벡터방식의 형상정보를 추출하거나 다양한 형상을 ‘변형’, ‘수정’, ‘모핑’할 수 있는 빅데이터 수집 과정을 중심으로 진행된다. 또한 조형정보를 활용한 ‘형상아웃라인추출’과 ‘그래픽 편집’기술을 습득한다.
  2. Course Objectives
    Students will train basic tools in Illustrator in order to understand the basic capabilities of the software. Students will create a library of useful simple graphics in order to apply to product design, poster design and portfolio design Students will train basic typography in order to late apply the knowledge to their own projects.
  3. Teachnig Method
    Students need to be on time for the class. Students joining after the official matriculation period need to bring their own computers with Illustrator or an equivalent vector based software. To pass the class students cannot be absent more than 5 times. In order to pass the class students must submit all classwork and homework.

    All students must have access to Illustrator or its equivalent. If the number of students of the class surpasses the number of available computers (20) the students joining late must bring their own laptop with Illustrator or an equivalent software installed on it.
  7. Practical application of the course
    Students will be able to create simple vector graphics to cover their needs to support their creation of product designs, posters and portfolios
